What it does

MATE helps you with

• writing scripts with AI without leaving your host app (InDesign, Illustrator, Figma)

• executing automations

• spell checking and translations

• generating images with "GPT Image 1" (OpenAI’s image generator).

What it does not

MATE is optimized for executing tasks and writing scripts for you.
It does not design. So, asking it to “Draw me a unicorn icon” or “Create a layout for a luxury editorial magazine” won’t work. You can, of course, ask it to place items in specific locations. But it won’t be creative on its own.
