Open Cursor settings.

Open Tools & MCP.

Add a new HTTP MCP server named MATE.

Choose Streamable HTTP and use the MCP URL shown in MATE Desktop.

Save and enable the server.

Open a fresh Cursor chat and ask it to list the available MATE tools.
