Open the user menu in ChatGPT and choose Settings.

Select Plugins, then open the MCP tab.

Choose + Add Server.

Name the server MATE.

Choose Streamable HTTP.

Paste the MCP URL shown in MATE Desktop and save.

Start a new ChatGPT chat and ask: “List the available MATE tools.”
